Jedi Starfighters are starships from the Star Wars universe.

Jedi Starfighters are one-man fighter craft used by members of the Jedi. Thanks to their pilots' use of the Force, they can transform into powerful battle mechs.

Several variations of the Jedi Starfighter exist:

  • A sleek, triangular vessel that can be outfitted with an optional ring with additional engines and weaponry. Used by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Saesee Tiin.
  • A variation of the first, with the dome-shaped assistant robot placed in the center of the craft rather than on the left. Used by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Ahsoka Tano.
  • An entirely different ship which is basically a bubble-like cockpit with wings. Used by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu, and later modified by an evil Skywalker into a "Sith Starfighter".

Toys

Star Wars Transformers

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter (2006)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
The first Jedi Starfighter mold is the type seen in Revenge of the Sith, what is known in Star Wars fiction as a Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor (specifically Obi-Wan's one, naturally). In vehicle mode it features flip-up S-foils and two firing missiles that become lightsabers in robot mode. Like all Star Wars Transformers toys, it comes with a tiny figure of its pilot that can sit in the cockpit.
This mold was retooled with new heads to make Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighters along with Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter.

  • Anakin Skywalker Jedi Starfighter (2006)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Anakin Skywalker figure
A retool of the Eta-2 mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Anakin Skywalker's personal ship.

  • Mace Windu Jedi Starfighter (2006)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Mace Windu figure
A retool of the Eta-2 mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Mace Windu's personal ship.

  • Galactic Showdown (Multi-pack, 2007)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
A redeco of the Obi-Wan toy with blue highlights rather than magenta. It was available exclusively at Walmart stores in a two-pack with Darth Vader.
  • Saesee Tiin Starfighter (2007)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles, Saesee Tiin figure
The second Jedi Starfighter mold is the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor type, featured prominently in Attack of the Clones. Like the Eta-2 mold, the toy is armed with two lightsaber missiles, this time fired from the engines on the optional hyperdrive ring accessory. Exclusive to the Saesee Tiin version of the mold is a battle mask that flips over the mech's face.
This mold was retooled repeatedly, first in the Star Wars Transformers line with a new head into Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was then retooled further for the Crossovers line into a slightly different craft for Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon, Ahsoka Tano, Kit Fisto and Obi-Wan again.

At last, the circle is now complete.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter (2008)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles, Obi-Wan figure
A retool of the Delta-7 mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Obi-Wan Kenobi's personal ship.

Crossovers

  • Jedi Starfighter to Anakin Skywalker (2008)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles
The first Jedi Starfighter toy released after Crossovers replaced Star Wars Transformers is a retool of the Delta-7 mold into the Delta-7B used in the Clone Wars series. The difference between the two is merely that the astromech droid is centered instead of on the side. As Crossovers did away with the minifigures, Anakin and all subsequent Jedi Starfighter toys do not have pilots.

  • Jedi Starfighter to Obi-Wan Kenobi (2008)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles
This Jedi Starfighter is a single-packed version of the "Galactic Showdown" Eta-2 toy. Other than the lack of a pilot, it is identical to its previous release.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2009)
    • Accessories: 2 lightsabers/missiles
Obi-Wan's second Crossovers release is a repackaged version of the very first Jedi Starfighter toy with the magenta highlights, again missing the minifigure.

  • Ahsoka Tano to Jedi Starfighter (2009)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles
A retool of the Delta-7B mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Ahsoka Tano's personal ship.

  • Plo Koon Jedi Starfighter (2009)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles
A retool of the Delta-7B mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Plo Koon's personal ship, the Blade of Dorin.

  • Kit Fisto / Jedi Starfighter (2009)
    • Accessories: 2 hyperdrive ring parts, 2 hyperdrive engines/missile launchers, 2 lightsabers/missiles
A retool of the Delta-7B mold with a new head. This toy specifically represents Kit Fisto's personal ship.

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jedi Starfighter (2010)
    • Accessories: Lightsaber
A retool of the Delta-7B mold with a new head and new hands (all previous uses of the mold featured the left hand as a closed fist and the right in a "Force pose"). The toy does not come with a hyperdrive ring, as such cannot fire its only lightsaber nor store it in vehicle mode. This toy specifically represents Obi-Wan Kenobi's personal ship.
