Nezha: Transformers (franchise)

Transformers: Nezha (also stylized as Nezha: Transformers) is an upcoming franchise for the Chinese market, a joint effort between Hasbro and China Central Television. The series combines the Transformers with the story of Nezha, a Chinese deity who is, among other things, a protector of commercial vehicle drivers.

Announced in 2017, but finally coming to fruition in late 2019, the franchise consists of:

• A prime-time cartoon
• A toyline

Information about this line is currently exceptionally scarce. While intended for release in China, according to Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, reception has been positive enough that the series might go global.

The show uses the Cyberverse designs.
