- Steeljaws are animals from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film continuity family.
Steeljaws are wolf-like creatures used by Lockdown to hunt down intruders and prey that venture into his ship.

A Steeljaw was among the forces that Lockdown ordered to stand down when the alien Sojex took command on the mercenary's ship. Locked In!
Age of Extinction film
As Cade, Tessa, and Shane fled Lockdown's ship, Lockdown sent in multiple Steeljaws to find and kill them. Cade picked them off while Shane and Tessa crossed the ship's anchor wires. When some of the Steeljaws attempted to terminate the humans, the others chewed through the wires and eventually broke them. However, all of their chewing went to waste as the trio was rescued by Bumblebee. Age of Extinction

- Part of the fourth wave of Age of Extinction One-Step Changers, Steeljaw transforms from a robot into a cyborg wolf in a single step.
Notes
- A preliminary name for the Steeljaws seems to have been Wolves, appearing on a Topps trading card and in toy listings leaked via Hasbro's customer service website.[1]
- Some reports from Toy Fair 2014 suggested the existence of a Dino Sparkers toy featuring Lockdown, which the aforementioned leak suggests would have featured a 'Wolf' as the mount. Ultimately, this product was never officially revealed or solicited for release.
- Steeljaw's product description on Hasbro Toy Shop's website uses the stock copy for Autobots, describing him fighting Decepticons.[2]
- Steeljaw was used as an early working name for Dark of the Moon Que/Wheeljack.[3] It ended up being used for Leadfoot's dog, instead.
