Sky-Byte was last seen drifting off into space in "Escape From Earth." While it was unclear if he was ever recovered at the time, this episode shows him to still be among the Decepticons.
Similarly, the same episode was also unclear if Vector Sigma had been left on Earth. This episode confirms it to have been brought home by the Decepticons.

Kup says that he's getting too old for this scrud, referencing the famous line from Lethal Weapon.
