Hot Rod and Soundwave clash over leadership of the Cybertronian resistance.
Synopsis
Still infuriated with Hot Rod's antics, the judge addresses the troops before sending them after Hot Rod, who is currently arguing with Soundwave. Thiings get heated in a leadership clash, but as soon as Soundwave tries firing a sonic blast, he instead blares the parade music, only stopping once Dead End knocks him on the head. Intending on interrogating one of them, Soundwave drags a prosecutor in the bar, who quickly starts attacking until Clobber renders in prone. They soon go after a baliff, but things heat up when Soundwave starts dishing out orders over Hot Rod's own.
Hot Rod ends up with Clobber, who reluctantly follows Soundwave's orders, which---as it turns out---is to eliminate Hot Rod. Soundwave, meanwhile, continues out the baliff capture, but the little chomper proves more than capable of self-defense. To make matters worse, Soundwave freezes again, and Hot Rod instructs Clobber to hold off deactivation. They manage to knock out the baliff, and Hot Rod distracts the prosecutors while the cons drag Soundwave and the baliff back to the bar.
Upon returning, Hot Rod finds Soundwave interrogating the baliff with ultrasonic torture, leading to another clash. It ends when Soundwave freezes again, his condition continuing to dwindle, and the only clues the baliff given are that there is only one who knows everything: the scientist. While being questioned on it, the scientist is working on extraction of energon.
