Hot Rod takes a strike team to free Windblade but gets captured by the Quintessons.
Synopsis
Making their way through the halls, the group get chased by a death roller, fall down a chamber, and crash through a door to reveal Iacnonus's face. Their fruitless attempts lead to them to require Windblade's assistance. Using helmets made from the Quintesson cables, the group infiltrate the stronghold, planting a device on Windblade while Hot Rod and CLobber go in the loop. Unfortunately, Perceptor's group gets spotted, and the group loses Hot Rod. Luckily, one of the stray blasts in the conflict frees Soundwave, who arrives to Clobber and Dead End severely drained.
Hot Rod is then taken by enslaved Sharkticons to the Quintesson Judge, while the resistance scans Soundwave. Embroiled in conversation with the judge, the resistance searches for Hot Rod, who jokes with the ever-annoyed judge. Verdicted as guilty, the Autobot is taken away, but escapes with more prosecuters after him. The Decepticon members of the resistance then decide what to do with the still-prone Soundwave, who unfortunately reawakens in time to hear a deactivation sugestion from the horrified cons.
Hot Rod soon finds himself on top of the Quintesson starship, jumping to be saved by Whirl. They end up back in Maccadaam's to find themselves face-to-face with Soundwave.
