Astrotrain (Cyberverse)
| The name or term "Astrotrain" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Astrotrain (disambiguation). |
- Astrotrain is a Decepticon shuttle from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Astrotrain presents a mystery to certain Autobots that have seen him dwarfing the likes of his fellow Decepticons, only to sullenly carry troops around anyway. Sure, saving the world or enforcing dictatorships in a completely different part of the multiverse is not his idea of freedom, but, well, it was a really cruel tyrant, okay?

Megatron found Astrotrain living under the rule of a tyrant while exploring the multiverse and freed him in return for his loyalty. Enemy Line
Astrotrain transported Megatron, Dead End, and a variety of new Decepticons to Megatron's home dimension in time to battle Judge Starscream. When they attempted to seal off the portal to unspace, Astrotrain was seized by Croaton until Windblade removed the Quintesson influence from the Titan's mind. Astrotrain used a beam to start closing the portal, but his forcefield began failing when an angry Judge Starscream retaliated. He was saved by Megatron and Optimus Prime, and closed the portal completely. Astrotrain later transported the new Decepticon troops to Megatron's meeting with Optimus. The End Of The Universe IV
In the aftermath of the war against the Quintessons, Astrotrain was seen patrolling the barrier between Autobot and Decepticon halves of Cybertron. Enemy Line
Notes
- As with many other Cyberverse characters, Astrotrain uses what could only be an evergreen design based off his Generation 1 counterpart. He even shares the role of being a transport ship for the Decepticons.
- Astrotrain is the first Cyberverse character seen to create a hologram of his head inside his vehicle mode.
- Standing several times taller than Megatron himself, Cyberverse Astrotrain is the largest incarnation of Astrotrain yet. Maybe go a little easy on the protein shakes, huh?
- It is unknown if Astrotrain can transform into a train like his previous namesakes. But considering he still has a sweet space shuttle as an alt-mode, why would he want to?
