In search of Windblade, Grimlock journeys with Bumblebee to prehistoric Cybertron.
Synopsis
A bot shows a new planet and begins to scope it out with his partner, Cosmos, who ends up attacked by their leader as the intro begins for... Alien Hunt! With Meteorfire! And Cosmos!
In the sickbay, Bee finds another shard on Luna 3... The forbidden moon. Luckily, Chromia knows a bot who can break him in, and Bee follows her directions to a shuttle. Inside, the bot sit sulkily watching reruns of Alien Hunt! while chugging down mugs of energon. The bot mourns the loss of his partner as he watches a rerun of her abduction on-screen. He turns off the screen as Bee enters, the scout becoming starstruck as he realizes he is speaking with Meteorfire, the star of Alien Hunt!. Explaining his circumstances, Meteorfire signs a mug and gives it to Bee, who loses the starstruck vibe enough to recruit him to infiltrate Luna 3. The former tv star agrees, and uses the oppurtunity to film a new episode for his show.
Disabling the quarantine generator, Meteorfire makes his way inside with Bumblebee in hot pursuit. Bee tracks Wndblade's shard to the moon's dark side, though to his exasperation, Meteorfire instead opts to scout out the old communications hub. He finds the flyer examining the computer terminals, but after displaying towards Meteorfire's focus on his show runs in fear at the sight of Shockwave's ghost trying to grab him. Meking his way out, he is greeted by the ghost of Blurr, and later comes under siege from phantom seekers. He soon retaliates fire, hitting a few before they disappear and his blasts hit one of Meteorfire's drones.
Making their way closer to Wiindblade, Meteorfire alerts to Bumblebee he is possessed. The scout soon comes under attack by his friend, and with Meteorfire's advice, dodges him long enough to land a direct hit with his stinger. Annoyed by Meteorfire's focus on his show, Bee reaffirms his mission, which Meteorfire gives his full support to. They find Windblade's shard in an alien responsible for the moon's desertion, and although Meteorfire puts on a brave face, his fear overtakes him when the entity surprises him and begins consuming him. Charging up with multiverse energy, Bee kills the alien with a single punch, absorbing the free shard of Windblade.
Another surprise comes when Cosmos emerges alive from the wreckage, reuniting her with an overjoyed Meteorfire. As it turns out, the entity took Cosmos prisoner so she could take it to Cybertron, allowing it to feed off the whole planet. The moon's desertion was the result of her attempting to halt it's plans. As the show returns to screen with Cosmos' return, Hot Rod points out to Grimlock and Arcee that Bee's on the show, while they simply express gratitude that the show is back on the air.
