This article is about the character. For the namesake cartoon episode, see Thunderhowl (episode).
Thunderhowl is an Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.

Behold! There is no knight more noble than Thunderhowl. Long, long, long (long) ago, Thunderhowl swore to destroy the Crystal City but he was defeated in battle and imprisoned within it's walls. With the help of 2 Autobots, the noble of the Primes is released from captivity to once again join the quest to the evil heart of Crystal City. With his sword and shield, his majestic wolf mode, plus his courage and gallant chivalry, there is no quest he won't go on for his comrades or Liege Prime. Once you show trust, rejoice, for his alliance is clear; his sword is at your service. It's a good thing he knows he chose the side of the good, because when in wolf mode, he harnesses a beast-like power that is almost impossible to match. Deal with it, Megatron!

Cyberverse cartoon

Voice actor: Rich Orlow (English)

During the Age of Expansion, Thunderhowl served under a Prime who dispatched him to destroy Crystal City. Though Thunderhowl breached the city's defences, he wound up trapped by the crystals, held in a state of suspended animation.

Salvation for the knight came sometime after 2007, when he was freed by the Autobots Bumblebee and Chromia, saving them from their own crystalline duplicates. After introducing himself to the Autobots, Thunderhowl agreed to aid them on their quest to save Windblade. Once they had entered the throne room, the Crystalline King generated an squadron of crystal Windblades to hold off the trio but Bumblebee's multiverse energy managed to shatter the entity. His quest complete, Thunderhowl returned to Iacon with the Autobots whereupon he pledged his loyalty to Optimus Prime. Thunderhowl
