Blackout (G2)

Blackout is a Decepticon from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Blckout is a Decepticon jet who....um...presumably does jet things for the Decepticons.

Blackout was, apparently, intended as a black repaint of a Starscream-type Seeker.

A mostly black and grey mock-up of what was believed to be a Generation 2 Starscream, given the nose art "Black Death" and, accordingly, speculated as perhaps intended to be named as such, was found from the same source as the mock-up of G2 Sandstorm. In 2012, a production colors test shot of this figure concept was found.
In 2020, Jim Sorenson unearthed concept artwork revealing that the "Black Death Starscream" had, in fact, been intended to be named as Blackout.
