Vanessa is a human from the Human Alliance portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Vanessa is a NEST soldier who's got Jake's back... even if she wishes she didn't. A very serious soldier, Jake's penchant for panic and excessive yattering tends to get on her nerves. Unfortunately for her, the two keep getting thrown together to thwart some of the Decepticons' worst schemes.
