A redeco of the Beast Wars Neo Predacon Saberback, Snarl transforms into an organic Stegosaurus. His beast mode tail detaches to form a spring-loaded three-clawed weapon. He also has a third "flower trap" mode which is just ridiculous.

He was available only in a Wal-Mart exclusive two-pack with Sludge.

This mold was also used to make Beast Machines Striker, Universe Dinobot Striker.

• The Dinobots' card-art, including Snarl's, was created by Marcelo Matere.
• Snarl and the other Dinobots had no "dimension" classification until an entry of the 2015 Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime assigned the 2003 Dinobots as Robots in Disguise (2001) characters.
