Stillness... then strike!

Please use the Preview button when making numerous small changes to a single page, using "Save page" only after all your changes are made. This way, you don't clutter the Recent Changes page with a ton of tiny little edits.

Welcome to the wiki, but please remember that you have a "Preview" button. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 15:36, 13 October 2017 (EDT)

Don't add pages for comics that aren't out yet. Escargon (talk) 19:59, 17 October 2018 (EDT)

My honestly

I am a fan of Transformers and I don't troll or scam in any mean way, I love Transformers. I try to add unique articles that aren't here. I'm working on however my pictures for it keeps getting deleted so give me 6 hours or something don't delete it. I work hard on those articles.

Q/n/A

The concept of such an article has been discussed by the userbase in the past, and the idea was thoroughly decided against. You could literally spend an eternity document every cameo or reference to Transformers in all of human media. Unless it's particularly notable somehow, we only concern ourselves with licensed works. Jalaguy (talk) 14:14, 22 November 2017 (EST).

Copy-pasting into articles

Your edits have been reverted multiple times now for copy-pasting unformatted FTF bios/stats directly into articles. Copy-pasting isn't acceptable, and the wiki isn't a video game strategy guide. You haven't been directly warned about it on your talk page before, so I'll let it slide once more, but do it again and you'll be looking at a block. Jalaguy (talk) 19:43, 22 December 2017 (EST)

Warning

Your Star Trek pages have been repeatedly deleted for being not up to standards, redundant with existing articles, for comics that aren't even out yet, etc. Please stop, as simply re-doing these things without change will only result in a time-out. --M Sipher (talk) 20:26, 17 October 2018 (EDT)

Using the preview button

Stillness... then strike!

Please use the Preview button when making numerous small changes to a single page, using "Save page" only after all your changes are made. This way, you don't clutter the Recent Changes page with a ton of tiny little edits.

You are getting closer to functional editing behaviour, but you still need to make use of the preview button to check your coding results before saving. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 19:34, 27 April 2020 (EDT)

Trial and Error

While the story was written by official Transformers writers, and is very good, it was not approved or licensed by Hasbro and is thus unofficial. While we don't cover it, there is an unofficial "wiki-style" page for it: see here. --Riptide (talk) 20:06, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

Why Trails and Error got deleted yet The Return of Blurr, The Stunti-Con Job, and Trial of Megatron, Part 1 do not? It makess no sense that Trails and Error get deleted yet those three stay and got their wikis? You're using your own words against yourself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs).

Because BotCon was an official Transformers convention, so stories told there are included; TFNation is unofficial. And Trial of Megatron is a special case because it was an actual episode that was planned for release before Animated was cancelled. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:13, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

Okay, in this one Starscream and Alexis TOTALLY kiss...
That ain't the way I heard it...

You've been posting what this wiki would term fan fiction.
We don't allow fan fiction here.
If you've really got a burning urge to catalogue fan fiction minutiae, please see the Transfanon wiki.

We're all aware of Trial and Error, and it's great. But it's not an official comic. TFWiki only covers material officially sanctioned by Hasbro and Takara. And in a convention sense, that means only comics and fiction released through BotCon. TFNation isn't a Hasbro-sponsored event, so anything released there is outside of our purview. However, someone on Tumblr already did lengthy TFWiki-style annotations for the comic; you can find those at this page. In the future, please don't create articles for unofficial material. Thanks! -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

But aren't The Return of Blurr and {The Stunti-Con Job]] "unofficial" too? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs).

No. Like I said, anything released at BotCon is official because it was an event officially sponsored by Hasbro. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:16, 18 May 2020 (EDT)
Then why do Trial of Megatron stay and Trial and Error do not? Usertalk:Nelspeedracer
Because Trial of Megatron was an actual episode that was planned to be made before the show was cancelled. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:22, 18 May 2020 (EDT)
