Stillness... then strike!

Please use the Preview button when making numerous small changes to a single page, using "Save page" only after all your changes are made. This way, you don't clutter the Recent Changes page with a ton of tiny little edits.

Welcome to the wiki, but please remember that you have a "Preview" button. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 15:36, 13 October 2017 (EDT)

Don't add pages for comics that aren't out yet. Escargon (talk) 19:59, 17 October 2018 (EDT)

My honestly

I am a fan of Transformers and I don't troll or scam in any mean way, I love Transformers. I try to add unique articles that aren't here. I'm working on however my pictures for it keeps getting deleted so give me 6 hours or something don't delete it. I work hard on those articles.

Q/n/A

The concept of such an article has been discussed by the userbase in the past, and the idea was thoroughly decided against. You could literally spend an eternity document every cameo or reference to Transformers in all of human media. Unless it's particularly notable somehow, we only concern ourselves with licensed works. Jalaguy (talk) 14:14, 22 November 2017 (EST).

Copy-pasting into articles

Your edits have been reverted multiple times now for copy-pasting unformatted FTF bios/stats directly into articles. Copy-pasting isn't acceptable, and the wiki isn't a video game strategy guide. You haven't been directly warned about it on your talk page before, so I'll let it slide once more, but do it again and you'll be looking at a block. Jalaguy (talk) 19:43, 22 December 2017 (EST)

Warning

Your Star Trek pages have been repeatedly deleted for being not up to standards, redundant with existing articles, for comics that aren't even out yet, etc. Please stop, as simply re-doing these things without change will only result in a time-out. --M Sipher (talk) 20:26, 17 October 2018 (EDT)

Using the preview button

Stillness... then strike!

Please use the Preview button when making numerous small changes to a single page, using "Save page" only after all your changes are made. This way, you don't clutter the Recent Changes page with a ton of tiny little edits.

You are getting closer to functional editing behaviour, but you still need to make use of the preview button to check your coding results before saving. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 19:34, 27 April 2020 (EDT)

Trial and Error

Okay, in this one Starscream and Alexis TOTALLY kiss...
That ain't the way I heard it...

You've been posting what this wiki would term fan fiction.
We don't allow fan fiction here.
If you've really got a burning urge to catalogue fan fiction minutiae, please see the Transfanon wiki.

While the story was written by official Transformers writers, and is very good, it was not approved or licensed by Hasbro and is thus unofficial. While we don't cover it, there is an unofficial "wiki-style" page for it: see here. --Riptide (talk) 20:06, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

Why Trails and Error got deleted yet The Return of Blurr, The Stunti-Con Job, and Trial of Megatron, Part 1 do not? It makess no sense that Trails and Error get deleted yet those three stay and got their wikis? You're using your own words against yourself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs).

Because BotCon was an official Transformers convention, so stories told there are included; TFNation is unofficial. And Trial of Megatron is a special case because it was an actual episode that was planned for release before Animated was cancelled. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:13, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

We're all aware of Trial and Error, and it's great. But it's not an official comic. TFWiki only covers material officially sanctioned by Hasbro and Takara. And in a convention sense, that means only comics and fiction released through BotCon. TFNation isn't a Hasbro-sponsored event, so anything released there is outside of our purview. However, someone on Tumblr already did lengthy TFWiki-style annotations for the comic; you can find those at this page. In the future, please don't create articles for unofficial material. Thanks! -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2020 (EDT)

Alignment seems to be precedent, though.... --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 12:18, 19 May 2020 (EDT)
Alignment is written by the author to actively follow on from things he set up in his work, and has since influenced several pieces of Transformers media, with concepts and ideas from it being incorporated into canon. Trial and Error is the work of two fans of the series using ideas from what we know of Season 4, but giving it a unique twist, and in any case, actively contradicts what we know from Trial of Megatron. Escargon (talk) 12:24, 19 May 2020 (EDT)

But aren't The Return of Blurr and {The Stunti-Con Job]] "unofficial" too? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nelspeedracer (talkcontribs).

No. Like I said, anything released at BotCon is official because it was an event officially sponsored by Hasbro. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:16, 18 May 2020 (EDT)
Then why do Trial of Megatron stay and Trial and Error do not? Usertalk:Nelspeedracer
Because Trial of Megatron was an actual episode that was planned to be made before the show was cancelled. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 20:22, 18 May 2020 (EDT)
Ok I get it now it was kinda confusing with material outside of mainstream and comics would have fallen under in like conventions and tie in material (talk)

Unknown TFcon Story

I found this story and it’s an TFcon story so mind helping me identifying it and maybe give it an Wiki if not made: https://youtu.be/Fm6Zy7yEh9Y {{Nelspeedracer (talk)}}

It's not canon. Escargon (talk) 22:39, 29 May 2020 (EDT)
What makes it not cannon? Doesn’t certain TFcon performances considered to me cannon or take place in its own universe at least? It’s voiced by official voice actors and wouldn’t it make it an pseudocanon or something like it? I see other similar ones said by admins it wasn’t cannon and they debated with other admins and eventually agreed the it was an pseudocanon or Apocrypha but you get the idea {Nelspeedracer (talk)}}
Because there's no involvement from Hasbro whatsoever in these TFCon scripts. What's listed under pseudocanon and apocrypha are ideas that were at some point or another under development at Hasbro such as the unpublished Dreamwave issues, or, in the case of Alignment, were works by official authors that directly carried on from the official works they wrote that were published. The script from TFCon is neither of those. Escargon (talk) 23:05, 29 May 2020 (EDT)
Then why was David Kaye and Garry Chalk doing there anyways? {{Nelspeedracer (talk)}}
Because they were guests at the convention, which is fan-run, as opposed to the script readings we had from BotCon, which had Hasbro's backing at the time. Escargon (talk) 23:19, 29 May 2020 (EDT)
No fiction from TFCon is canon (one N, not two) because TFCon is not an official Transformers convention supported by Hasbro in any licensed capacity. BotCon was, but it's not anymore. At present, the only convention that has Hasbro's official license to produce canon Transformers fiction is HasCon, but which has only ever had one year of activity, which was back in 2017.
As for past Transformers actors attending unofficial Transformers conventions, such as your bringing up David Kaye and Garry Chalk attending TFCon as guests, those actors can do that because they as human beings are not property owned by Hasbro. They also do lots of other work as actors appearing in non-Transformers series as well, and as such have also made appearances at many other non-Transformers conventions, like all of the various Comic Cons throughout the world.
But, no matter what kinds of fiction all of these conventions may produce, none of them are canon to Transformers unless they are produced by a convention that is officially licensed by Hasbro. And, as I said, HasCon is presently the only convention that is officially licensed to produce canon Transformers fiction, but has thus far had no activity since 2017.
Hope that clears up yours questions about the current state of officially-licensed Transformers convention fiction. --Sabrblade (talk) 23:56, 29 May 2020 (EDT)

Shattered Glass Animated Blurr and Shockwave

  • I found the pictures of Shattered Glass Blurr and Shockwave in Re-burn of Blurr short {{Nelspeedracer (talk)}}
You should split them into separate images. Put Blurr's on Blurr's and Shockwave's on Shockwave's. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 01:50, 20 June 2020 (EDT)
