Bandai Namco Entertainment (バンダイナムコエンターテインメント Bandai Namuko Entāteinmento) is a Japanese multinational video game developer and publisher that was formed after the merger of Bandai and Namco in 2005 based in Tokyo. It is best known for publishing titles based on famous anime such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, One Punch Man, Sword Art Online, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Mobile Suit Gundam, Digimon, Saint Seiya, and Sailor Moon. Outside of their anime titles, they are home to Namco's pre-merger franchises such as Soul Calibur, Tales, Super Robot Wars, .hack, Tekken, Ace Combat and their mascot Pac-Man. They have co-developed several games for Nintendo, including later entries in the Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros franchises.
