The Transformers: The IDW Collection Phase Two: Volume 3, published by IDW Publishing in February 2016, is the eleventh in a series of hardcovers aiming to reprint the IDW G1 Transformers stories in a "suggested reading order". The included issues were first published between mid/late 2012 and early 2013. New cover art (of Rodimus) is provided by Marcelo Matere and Tom B. Long.

Notes

  • Listings erroneously stated Robots in Disguise #9 "Night and the City" was collected in this volume. (It was already collected in Volume 2 of The IDW Collection Phase Two.)
  • Let's try to untangle what exactly's going on with the ordering here:
    • Every Spotlight story included in this volume takes place after Primacy, which was not reprinted until Volume 5.
    • The two Annuals are included in the correct order, as the events of the first lead into those of the second.
    • The entire "Shadowplay" story arc is included without interruption.
    • Robots in Disguise #10 and #11 are mostly standalone, so their placement here is technically correct.
    • Spotlight: Megatron takes place before Spotlight: Bumblebee, not after, though both take place during the 2009 ongoing.
    • "Signal to Noise" should probably come immediately after More than Meets the Eye #13.
