Gau are Decepticon air troops from the Mystery of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Gau (ガウ) are an exceptionally minor part of the Decepticon forces. With no offensive capabilities to speak of, they're effectively harmless to all but the most stupid and careless of Autobots.

• The prize the Gau guard is a hidden sprite of Takara's then-mascot, "Dakko-Chan"... an unfortunate racist caricature. Collecting the sprite nets the player 5000 points.
