A group of mercenaries led by faulty clone Soundblaster frequently received Energon from Bumblebee. However, during one of these transactions, the bot, accompanied by Autobots Arcee and Cog, made off with a few pieces of the much-desired material in an effort to bring the Ark online, despite the mercenaries' attempts to stop them.
