Laurent Maurel (b. May 5, 1972) is a French actor, writer and director.

He wrote and directed numerous theater plays during his career and won several prizes. He also writes for television series. He played in various theater plays, films and TV series, including some roles in British shows like Doctor Who, in which he played Nicolas in the 10th season.

Aside from his very prolific career in cinema, television and theater, he is also active in dubbing, being one of the voices of Ike Barinholtz, Chad Rook, Dan Fogler, Stephen Graham and Riccardo Scamarcio. He dubbed Gargamel in the Smurfs: The Lost Village film and Winston Deavor in Incredibles 2 (a role he reprised in the Lego Incredibles game).
