Reiner Schöne (born January 9, 1942.) is a German actor, voice actor, songwriter, and vocalist.

He began his career as an actor in various musicals in Germany including adaptions of Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar. In the 80s he moved to America and starred in various TV shows and feature films including Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Crash Dive, Babylon 5: In the Beginning, MacGyver, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In 2002 he returned to Germany and began working as a voice actor and became the German regular voice for Willem Dafoe, Mickey Rourke, and took over as the German voice of Darth Vader in 2005.

When asked about his work as the German voice of Optimus Prime, he described the dubbing process as very difficult because the masters the company received from America were mostly blacked out. Also in 2009 when asked if he would return as the voice of Optimus in Revenge of the Fallen he responded that he just signed the deal to return as Octopus.
