- The Autobot youths are Transformers from the future of the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The "Autobot youths" live on Gorlam Prime millions of years after the Unification Wars and the Great Years, and are somewhat in awe of veterans like Ironhide and Alpha Trion.

2005 IDW continuity
Three Autobot youths were listening to Alpha Trion telling them stories about the Great War when Ironhide arrived to give a speech for Remembrance Night, to be broadcast over the media-tron. Afterwards, one of them found Ironhide outside worrying about the missing Megatron, and asked him to protect them should Megatron ever return. Pax Cybertronia
Notes
- They sport the Generation 2 Autobot insignia.
- It's implied that the Autobot youths have multiple alternate modes; one asks Ironhide if it's true that he only has one.
- With the destruction of Gorlam Prime Homecoming and the deaths of both Alpha Trion The Falling, Chapter 2: Another Mine and Ironhide himself Ceremony, it seems highly unlikely that his vision of the future will somehow come to pass and therefore the Autobot youths may never come to exist in the first place.
