During the Great War, Stratotronic and Gutcruncher killed many Cybertronian refugees under the Wreckers' protection, just to make the point that nobody was safe. Forever Is a Long Time Coming

After the war ended, Stratotronic joined his friend, Gutcruncher, in opening his bar and running an engex bootlegging operation. During their theft of an engex distiller, Stratotronic and his partners-in-crime, Ransack and Heavy Barrel, were killed Fight or Flee by Sandstorm for their crimes during the war.
