Blurr initially appeared participating in Master Disaster's Street Demon races, though he never transformed. This was because he was being manipulated by a remote control that contained an AllSpark fragment. Bumblebee lost two races to him even with his rocket boosters, both because of Blurr's incredible speed and the maneuvers Master Disaster had him perform. Later, Sari's key detected the AllSpark fragment, so she stole the remote control to investigate it, which allowed Blurr to regain control of himself. As Blitzwing was about to attack Bumblebee, Blurr charged off a bridge and played a mid-air game of chicken with Blitzwing, causing the Decepticon to veer off and crash into a skyscraper. Later that night, Bumblebee was on the roof of the Autobots' garage base when he spotted Blurr driving down a nearby highway past the building. 'Bee called out a thank you, but Blurr gave no response. Velocity

He appears as an almost copy-tribute to Speed Racer, most specifically Racer X. WHO IS THAT GUY?!
