Part of a small Rise cell led by Ruckus, Kaskade joined her leader along with Wirespike and lowload in an attempt to siphon energon from a remote energon transmission station following the destruction of the Rise base underneath the Iacon Memorial Crater. She was the only worried about getting caught by the Security Operations, pointing out that things could go drastically like what happened with Brainstorm. Her fears were confirmed as Springer was shown waiting for them and it was only due to Lowload that they weren't caught. The four Ascenticons made good their escape and fled to a Rise fallback position in the Cybertronian Mountains, where they accessed a hidden cache of weaponry to defend their new position inside the head of an immersant Titan. As more officers were called in to deal with the burgeoning standoff, Kaskade was the one who snipped Javelin despite Ruckus ordering her not to (Justifying it by saying Javelin was looking at her funny). Finally, Ascenticon senator Soundwave arrived to negotiate safe passage for the four bots, believing them to be simple criminals; however, Ruckus stupidly let slip some important detail (Like how Barricade escaped). When it became clear that the four 'bots couldn't fall into Autobot custody, Soundwave was forced to doublecross the quartet and detonated the Titan's head. Only Ruckus and Kaskade manage to survive.
