Center City (G1)
- Center City is a city (duh) from the Find Your Fate Junior portion of the Generation 1 continuity family and the Transformers The Game (PSP) portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Center City is the human settlement nearest to the Autobots' concealed headquarters in Oregon. It is home to Sparkplug and Buster. Its leader is Mayor Todd.
In one timeline, the final battle for the AllSpark took place here. It appeared to be in the middle of mayor elections during this time.
Fiction
Earthquake
Decepticons planned to use the Destruction Beam to create artificial faults under Center City, then trigger an earthquake to destroy it. (Then proceeding on to world capitals.) Earthquake
Sparkplug convinced Mayor Todd to evacuate the city before the beam finishes so that the Autobots can fight the Decepticons without threat of casualties.

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee planned to hide the AllSpark inside Center City. On their way to the city, they were attacked by Decepticon drones but the duo succesfully evaded them.
Inside the city, Barricade managed to steal the cube from Bumblebee with a surprise attack. Though the two managed to defeat Barricade and get AllSpark back, it was stolen again by Megatron, Bumblebee injured in the process.
Using the cube to power himself, Megatron gained great power and the ability to bring ordinary Earth vehicles inside the city to life to attack Optimus. Optimus was ultimately victorious and Sam Witwicky managed to plunge the AllSpark into the weakened Megatron's chest, killing him. Transformers The Game (PSP)
Notes
G1 notes
- Center City is an analogue to Portland, Oregon, which is where the Witwickys live in some continuities.
- Its proximity to the Autobot base also makes it a rough analogue for Central City.
Movie notes
- In the 2007 PSP game, Center City takes the place of Mission City.
- The mentioned places in the "notable locations" section of this page are named after Denny O'Neil, Jim Shooter and Bob Budiansky. All of them had a hand in the creation of Transformers mythos.
