During a feud between a renegade faction of Maximals (who were a cult obssessed with the Quintessons, Wingmirror teamed up with his longtime Co-Pilot, a Predacon named Biotech to participate in an aerial battle with the group's leader. Althought the pair were victorious, their ship was shot down and crahed on Earth, leaving them damaged and smelted together at the waist.
The fused duo travelled for weeks, until they found the site of a burglary. Attempting to halt the crime, Biotech's Trans-Scaners ware activated, and locked on to a Nintendo Wii, Wiimote, and Nunchuk. The result was the friends became a single, powerful entity who renamed himself Tehcnohidden.
