The Functionist Universe
In an alternate timeline and as Minimus Ambus returned to Cybertron after 2 million years, Rewind greeted him and took him back to his and Dominus Ambus's home. While talking to Rewind, Minimus was shown footage of a 'bot protesting against the Functionist Council, looking very much like a female version of another bot, hurling her t-cog in protest of the Council's grip on Cybertronian society. She was soon killed by a Functionary for her insolence. The Custom-Made Now
Notes
- In IDW continuity, female Transformers didn't exist on Cybertron 2 million years ago, or at all, until the introduction of Arcee. It's possible that the alternate Cybertron came into contact with the Cybertronian colonies much earlier than in the main continuity, or that she changed her appearance and/or gender expression as a form of protest against the Functionist Council's strict adherence to form and function. Alas, we'll probably never find out, since she died shortly after her first appearance.
