Detailing Codexa's own experiences during the Age of Expansion, The Way We Were, by One Who Saw It spoke of the great deeds of the Titans, such as Chela saving Cybertron from the Wayward Comet, but also of the horrors that they inflicted on aliens during the founding of the Cybertronian colonies, such as Waypoint destroying the Szorian Empire. As a result of this, Codexa came to understand the fear that the other races of the galaxy had viewed the Titans, reflecting that it might have been for the best that the Titans had gone into stasis lock during the era of the Nominus Edict.

During the era of Sentinel Prime, Vigilem was sent to attack the Winged Moon by the Rise, quoting The Way We Were, by One Who Saw It throughout his flight. Sent to intercept him, Lightbright and Lodestar considered this to be a bad sign. The Change In Your Nature Part Five
