The High Council of Ancients is a legislative body from the live-action film series continuity family.

The High Council of Ancients were an outmoded, but still highly respected, law-giving body on peacetime Cybertron. Ratchet was Optimus's chief liaison to them. The Movie Guide

Notes

• The High Council of Ancients sounds equivalent to the House of Lords.
• The first know mention of High Council and Ratchet's involvement with them is from an earlier script of the 2007 movie called the Prime Directive, where Optimus introduces Ratchet as "the chief emissary of the High Council of ancients" to Sam and Mikaela.
