Beast Wars Neo manga

After being chewed up and spat out by Unicron, Magmatron's still-living disembodied head gripped the Magma Blade with its teeth and asked Big Convoy to receive the sword as a "parting gift". Magmatron then repented of his wrongdoings and asked Big Convoy to give him an honorable "warrior's death" with his own sword, as Magmatron himself was a true warrior. Big Convoy honored the request and killed Magmatron with the Magma Blade. Double Cross

Later, Big Convoy returned to the planet Cybertron and used the Magma Blade to destroy Unicron's physical body. Return to Zero
