Transformers: Animated
Publisher American Greetings Corporation

This boxed set, released in 2008, contains 32 assorted cards, with each card depicting a character and a surprisingly pithy saying. There are four sheets of eight designs in the set.

Included Cards

[edit]
  • Ratchet - "Valentine To The Rescue!"
  • Bulkhead - "Our Friendship is Ironclad!"
  • Prowl - "Let's Roll, Valentine!"
  • Bumblebee (vehicle mode) - "Autobots, Roll Out!"

The included sticker sheet depicted Optimus Prime, Prowl, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream in dynamic poses with their names; the Transformers: Animated logo; two Autobot symbols; and two Decepticon symbols.

Notes

[edit]
  • The Bulkhead card is twice the size of the others; this may have been meant as a card to be given out to teachers, as such cards are usually larger than the rest in such boxes.
  • It would appear that American Greetings was in the habit of recycling their sayings -
"Our friendship is ironclad!" would later be spoken by Ironhide with the Revenge of the Fallen set
"Bee my Valentine!" was recycled for Dark of the Moon, not only by American Greetings itself but also by Paper Magic Group.
"Valentine to the rescue!" would later be spoken by Ratchet for the Revenge of the Fallen set as well.

Additionally, "Autobots! Roll Out!" was used by Paper Magic for their 2012 set as well.
