Transformers: The Headmasters (franchise)

The Headmasters was the first Japanese-only Transformers franchise, consisting of the following components:

• A toyline.
• A manga series.
• A television series.

The cartoon series aired in Japan after Transformers: 2010, the third season of The Transformers in Western countries. It ignored the three-part "The Rebirth" episode and set off with its own continuity.
