The Autobot Military Academy appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Flattop, Outback, Pipes, Tailgate, and Subsea all were cadets at the academy. In days past, it was tradition for Autobots-to-be to undergo a "trial by fire" in the Underworld, a lower level of Cybertron infested with dangerous creatures. That tradition ended around the time the Ark was launched, but Flattop persuaded Tailgate and Subsea to join him in resurrecting it. Predictably, it didn't end well, costing academy cadets Flattop and Subsea their lives. Underworld!
