At some point, Captain Witwicky was moved from the (more politically correct) Boston Secure Hospital to the PILTI in Baton Rogue. His psychiatrist was Doctor Curtis. He was often forced to be restrained in isolation, and his medication rarely worked.
In 2003, some sixty-five years after he died, Bumblebee, having Shwiggled his his claims on seeing an "Ice Man", went to the institute, which he found abandoned.
From all the decay, damage, and abandoned medical equipment, it looked like something bad went down there. Prime Directives
