Ilchixtil is a river. The Natitlec people lived on its shores, living a peaceful existence until the "gods-made-flesh" came to the land, bringing with them their terrible wars.

A pictograph inscription describing the oral history of the Natitlec people was found by archeologists Jessica Theist and Carter Sanford. These inscriptions described the Natiltec’s life alongside the river. Fire in the Dark
