Cyber Slammers

The Cyber Slammers are a sub-line of the live-action movie toyline aimed at very young children, featuring an autotransformation gimmick and pull-back motor, making them very similar to the Battlechargers. Their articulation is limited to their shoulders and head, and the arms have springs that put them back in place when they are released. They are also very inaccurate to the CGI designs of the transformers they represent. Their transformation involves pushing the back down, which makes the "feet" expand so the upper body fits into them. This makes a hook in the feet hold it in place while activating the pull-back motor, so it rolls forward while the robot mode pops up.
The Cyber Slammers are sure to please a toddler who has seen the PG-13 movie... or little kids who haven't but who have parents/siblings who collect Transformers, and they saw the neat robot toys and the TV commercials and want one of their own.

Trivia
- Cyber Slammers are a good example of why some fans don't like gimmicks... and how they often have an extremely weak concept of "target audience".
