Dinobot Magma Type (ダイノボットマグマタイプ Dainobotto Maguma Taipu) is a variant of the Cruellock drone.

In Japan, the Cruellock toy was redecoed in red and deep burgundy, as a somewhat more limited (but still mass-retail) release. Its energon weaponry was given a bright yellow color. Its packaging was largely unchanged, getting simply a new bubble-lining declaring "Magma Type" and a new ID number sticker at the top-right of the card.

This mold was also used to create Doom-Lock, seemingly a play on the same concept.
