Overview
The changeling Queen Chrysalis attempts to use a spell to search for more of her kind in other worlds, hoping to summon them to Equestria so they can aid her in conquering it. However, the spell accidentally connects with a malfunctioning space bridge on Cybertron and pulls the Autobots and Decepticons into Equestria instead. As a result, Optimus Prime and Twilight Sparkle must gather their own allies to stop the combined threat of the changelings and Decepticons.

The series is written by previous My Little Pony comic writers James Asmus, Ian Flynn, and Sam Maggs, with art by Casey Coller, Jack Lawrence, Sara Pitre-Durocher, Priscilla Tramontano, and Tony Fleecs. Fleecs also provides covers for each issue, having previously done a series of BotCon-exclusive crossover covers and lithographs based on the two franchises.
