- Chromhorn Forest Type is a Terrorcon from the Energon portion of the Unicron Trilogy.
The Chromhorn Forest Type (クロムホーンフォレストタイプ Kuromuhōn Foresuto Taipu) is a variant of the Insecticon drone.

- Released in the thirteenth wave of Takara Super Link toys (and the only new toy in that wave), the Chromhorn Limited Forest Type is a redeco of the Chromhorn (aka Insecticon) toy, in numerous shades of green. In robot mode, its front pair of insect-legs swing up to become over-shoulder (non-firing) blaster-cannons.
- It comes with two energon weapon parts, a drill-sword and a rotating gatling-cannon. The gatling-cannon is designed to fit over its insect-mode head as a helmet, and sadly, the gatling part does not spin freely. These two combine to form a large "Energy Drill" "Ultimate Energon Weapon"; this form is also basically the only way to store the drill-sword in its insect mode. It also comes with a Decepticon-style energon star that can attach to the spark crystals of most other Energon toys.
- The packaging was largely unchanged from the regular Chromhorn release, only a new bubble-front and a sticker to cover the original ID number were added. This release, like the other "Type" variant Terrorcons, had a smaller production run than their first iterations.
- This toy was repurposed as the individual Chromhorn.
