Does anybody think that Ichikawa wrote the 'World of the Tranformers' feature at the TakaraTomy TF website? Though I can't read it, from the pics it seems to show things from the Marvel continuities and what has been said or depicted in the US continuities, such as The One and the 13 Original Transformers. I can't imagine anybody else at Takara that clued-up about the US continuities. --FFN 15:13, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

I actually asked Doug Dlin about that a few days ago. He said he'd ask, but did note Ichikawa had said he was working on a big TF project for Takara that was "strictly for in-house reference", but perhaps this is inspired by it. And I'll be damned if that's not a prettied-up and tweaked version of my Continuity Flowchart there... which Ichikawa actually sent me comments on regarding a few Japanese series links. I'll let you all know soon as I hear back. --M Sipher 15:45, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
It certainly has a lot of references to Marvel Comics stuff which is typically Ichikawa's thang. I noticed that Polyhex was referenced as the Decepticon capital city on Cybertron, along with the Dead End and the Smelting Pool among other things. --DrSpengler 15:52, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Er, I thought Ichikawa preferred the G1 cartoon and wasn't too hot on the Marvel comics?--Nevermore 16:19, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
He doesn't much care for the mysticism aspects of the comics. But that also doesn't mean he's going to ignore them when it comes to a vaguely-comprehensive "everything TFs" deal. --M Sipher 16:30, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Ichikawa loves Budiansky, but doesn't like Furman. --ItsWalky 17:03, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
If Ichikawa doesn't like Furman... the most prolific western Transformers writer... WHAT CHANCE, then... DO WE HAVE?!? --FFN 17:17, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
