The Tome of Tales is a book which is almost a thousand years old. As such, its pages are extremely delicate and must be handled carefully to avoid damage. Some of the pages have Cybertronian text on them.

The Tome of Tales was kept at an old college in Dublin, Ireland. When a holokey projected Cybertronian text, Finn O'Reilly recognized the English translation of the passage as being from the Tome of Tales. He organized a special viewing of the book for him and the Rescue Bots, and when Whirl pointed out the Cybertronian text, the holokey activated and gave them a clue to the next location they needed to visit.
