Paragon and Cyclonus were lovers during the War of the Threefold Spark until Paragon was killed by Great General Pyra Magna, being aboard Turmoil's vessel when it accidentally detonated The Cracks Beneath Your Feet Part Four Hunt We Are Not Meant To Be Darkness Cyclonus's therapist Froid was aware of Cyclonus's relationship with Paragon and frequently implored Cyclonus to reach out to Paragon the same way he had "reached out" to the hallucinatory ghosts of his fallen comrades Gridlock, Grudge, Highfire, and Provoke. Cyclonus finally envisioned Paragon talking to him when he heard from Sixshot that Pyra Magna had been released from prison. Paragon's specter seemed to convince Cyclonus to join the Decepticons and seek revenge on Pyra. Hunt
