- Windbreaker is noted to follow in a "deceased relative's" footsteps as one of the fastest Autobots. This relative is Windcharger, who was the fastest Autobots over short distances among the original 1984 characters, and was among those killed in The Transformers: The Movie.

- Flamefeather is presented as having a cunning mind behind all his aggression, which lead Jhiaxus to make him the planner for the Runamuck and Runabout's raids.
