DC Comics is a U.S. comic book company, primary rival to Marvel Comics and creator of the world-renowned Superman and Batman. While DC Comics has yet to formally collaborate with Hasbro in a Transformers project, many freelancer creators at IDW Publishing have done work for DC.

Notes

In the late 2000s, Phil Jimenez, in collaboration with IDW Publishing editor-in-chef Chris Ryall, pitched a comic book crossover between the Transformers and DC Comics' Justice League. Sadly, the pitch never came to fruition.^[1]
