Collaborative

The rather bizarre eighth release in the Collaborative line, J. Balvintron is a redeco of the original The Transformers Soundwave toy, of all things.
J. Balvintron transforms into a realistically-sized yellow microcassette recorder, complete with an opening cassette door that can accommodate any of the numerous Mini-Cassette figures. They are decked out in garish colors, numerous smiley faces, and lightning bolts, all seemingly in homage to the style of Colombian singer J. Balvin. As a redeco of one of the earliest Transformers figures ever made, J. Balvintron features far less articulation than expected for a toy in 2021. For the first time in the long history of this mold, the traditional hand- and shoulder-mounted battery weapons are not included; instead, the set includes one of the large rifles originally included with War for Cybertron: Siege Jetfire. J. Balvintron also comes with two delicious rainbow-colored Fire Blast effects, likewise of the design originally included with Siege Jetfire.
J. Balvintron comes packaged with Energia Buzzaw and Vibras Stripes (the Portuguese word for "energy" and Spanish for "vibes" respectively). This set is exclusive to the NTWRK app, with pre-orders beginning on July 2, 2021.
This mold was also used to make The Headmasters Soundblaster, and numerous reissues of the original Soundwave.
