Runabout fired his particle beam rifle during a confrontation with Circuit Breaker at Independence Hall in Philadelphia and although she was injured in that battle, it would do him little good when she returned and trounced him and Runamuck with her jury-rigged Autobot suit shortly afterwards. Earthforce
During the Magnificent Six's final confrontation with Megadeath, the brutal Decepticon was hit by a volley of particle beams, proton accelerator rays, and concussion bolts. The Magnificent Six!

- Due to Runabout's autotransformation engineering, he features no articulation whatsoever, or even arms. As such, his particle beam rifle can only be plugged into what is presented as his shoulder.
