Udan

Udan is a Beastformer from the Beastformers portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Udan (ウーダン Ūdan) is one of the Autobot Beastformers fighting a war on the planet Beast. He was born near the border of Nupal. His role in the Autobot Beastformer forces is Staff Officer. He also holds the rank of Emperor of Iriano, under King Dog Hunter.

Legends comic

Udan took part in the final battle between the Beastformers and the Laser Beasts on Beast in 2023. He was stationed at Wood Beetle's base mode. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 1

In 2038, the then-peaceful Beast was invaded by Galvatron II's Decepticons. Udan was part of the joint Beastformer-Laser Beast alliance that fought against the invaders. He worked alongside Grotusque and Doublecross at one point. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 3

Part of the third series of Beastformers, Udan is an anthropomorphic orangutan in high-tech green armor. His entire left arm has been replaced with a bionic one, and cannot hold his "Jungle Spear" (ジャングルスピア).

He has one of three rubsigns on his chest, revealing the elemental power of Fire, Water, or Wood. As he was only released in series three, he only came with the full-color-image-on-black version of the rubsign, rather than the black-outline-on-mood-ring-colors version from the previous series.
