Haywire (Mini-Con)

Haywire is a Mini-Con from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Haywires are the ultimate in supportive Mini-Cons. Not completely because of the abilities they bestow, but because they're always there with a smile and a hug to make a Bot feel better. They'll even be commonly seen at the starting line of races giving a big thumbs up to encourage the racers, which must be a sight given they have clamps for hands.

Transformers: Heavy Metal

The Mini-Cons were all brought to Earth from another dimension by Micronus Prime and could be found by humans in the Guardian Program equipped with an Autobot Scanner modified with Decepticon technology. Once located and recruited by paying them Energon, Haywires could be partnered with Autobots to give them new abilities. Transformers: Heavy Metal

  • Dynamizer — Gain extra energy for the next three turns.
  • Electrolizer — Gain energy. Scrap this ability
  • Ionizer — Gain more energy whenever energy is gained for the rest of the match. Scrap this ability.
