Notes

[edit]
  • Initially, Chris Mowry was asked to do a prequel series for Revenge of the Fallen. The theme of "destiny" was key, so that's what the title was called. Eventually, the staff of IDW felt that since there is so much to tell in the movie universe, there should be two separate series. So while there are two stories, they fall under the "destiny" banner and help to explain a larger story.[1]
  • A teaser advertisement for Destiny, written mostly in Cyberglyphics, appeared in the last issue of The Reign of Starscream.
  • Chris Mowry said he wanted to have Laserbeak appear as a Predator Drone in Alliance, but he was not permitted. [2]
