Axiom (ROM)

Axiom is a human and Dire Wraith from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Aaron Grundy is a brilliant scientist. Working with his friend Caleb Awan at DeepWave Technologies, they developed a powered exoskeleton intended for law enforcement and all-terrain exploration, which they called the Axiom. Unfortunately, Grundy was co-opted by the evil Dire Wraiths, who fused Grundy with their alien magic, Grundy's suit, and Ore-13. Now, Grundy is Axiom, the pinnacle of hybrid magic and science, an elite Dire Wraith fighter.

Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

Allied with M.A.S.K., Axiom and other Dire Wraiths attacked Autobot City for the cache of Ore-13 beneath it and were met with an alliance between Rom, the Autobots, the Micronauts, and Snake Eyes. During the great battle that ensued, Axiom took on Rom and had the upper hand until Baron Karza arrived and used his enerchange ability to absorb all the Dire Wraiths into his own body, including him.
